The first Short Sounds Film Festival was a massive success.  The festival team would like to thank everyone who attended and participated in the first inaugural festival.  A big thank you to all the filmmakers who submitted shorts, our team of dedicated volunteer festival makers, the judges, guest speakers and all our sponsors.  A true celebration of sound and music at the cinema.

Guest speakers in 2017 included award-winning Composer Rupert Gregson-Williams, Sound Designer Glen Gathard, Foley Artist Barnaby Smyth, Writer and Director Dan Pringle and Director Chris Smith among many others.

The Short Sounds Film Festival will return on the 1st and 2nd November 2018 – listen out for more details!
